A brief history
While Radar Protection Services was founded in 2025, the idea has been a dream of our Owner Mike, for as long as he can remember. Over the course of 20+ years Mike has been in the public safety field. Mike started his public safety career originally in Southern California, Riverside County but then moved to Bend, Oregon in 2011. With the experience he has developed he has seen the different ways things get done and how some companies operate, that being said he has also seen the wrong way things get done and the right way things get done. He has promised himself and the way he wants Radar Protection Services ran, to always try to do it the right way and no taking shortcuts.
Mike has been working on and planning on getting a security company up and running now for the last few years, but things always seem to come up that delayed that from happening any sooner. After helping a friend of his start his own security company and spending 6 years there as the Executive Operations Manager, Mike decided to finally move forward with his own company.

Radar Protection Services is located in Central Oregon. We are here to not just meet the basic standards of the security industry but we are to help educate and exceed the standards of the security industry. At Radar Protection Services we provide services that lack currently. Have you ever met or seen security professionals who you thought that wasn’t trained correctly and or to the expected standard as a security professional should be? We have.
That’s why here at R.P.S. we make sure that all current and future professionals are trained with all updated education with all state requirements and going beyond that with other educational requirements from a company standard. We even offer courses and classes outside R.P.S. for anyone who is interested in learning more. Some courses include: DPSST, Taser, 1st Aid CPR & AED, Workplace Violence Response and more.
Here at Radar Protection Services you are not just another client, employee, or customer but you are apart of the R.P.S family.
